My PS3's download speed is just horribly slow. Currently I'm downloading a 6,5 Gb file and this is the third day of the download. It's unbearable. My PS3 uses a wireless connection. Generally, it's very rare to ever hit 25Mb on any device because the service you're using (XBL, or some consumer-grade FTP, hosting services, etc) is rarely going to dish 25Mb to you. Nothing seemed to help. I have a 10/1 mbit connection, but the download speed where realy slow most of the time.but then I disabled the media server on the ps3, and TADA, speeds are fine now. They are not near 10mbit, but it is about the same as my pc with torrents.So try to disable media server, might help, it helped me.
